I wanted to start off by mentioning I will be in New York City October 21st - 23rd for the 2022 NYC Windup Watch Fair with Wind Vintage (Eric will be joining on Saturday - Sunday). The venue will be on 18th Street between 6th and 7th avenues (135 W 18th St to be specific). If you are in the city and would like to check out some cool vintage watches, I would be thrilled to meet you. Please shoot me an email, or simply come say “Hey!” at the fair.

Collector Check-in: Augustin Simat
Wind Vintage recently hung out with Augustin Simat, a collector who has a great eye for watches and is one of the leading voices when it comes to Vulcain Crickets. Augustin’s collection is really interesting and unconventional in the best way. I was thrilled to get to know him over his afternoon visit to Palm Beach, and more recently, he was kind enough to send me a Memovox E 875 on NSA bracelet so I could feature it in the Collector’s Guide I wrote a while back!

Last week we enjoyed a few days with the beautiful city of Carmel, Indiana. The trip involved a lecture by Eric Wind in partnership with Moyer Fine Jewelers on collecting vintage watches.
